Charity Football Match Raises Nearly £11,000 for The Sophie Lancaster Foundation

On Friday 9th May, the AESSEAL New York Stadium played host to an incredible evening of football, community spirit, and charitable giving. Where Fawkes Recycling took on KCM Waste Management in the much-anticipated Battle of the Waste Companies. Despite the final score of 9-4 to KCM (we’ll get them next time! 😅), the real victory was the nearly £11,000 raised for The Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

A Night to Remember

Both teams played with passion and determination and were cheered on by a fantastic crowd. With everyone involved coming together to support a truly meaningful cause.

While we might not have brought the trophy home this time, the generosity and support shown by our incredible sponsors and supporters made it a huge win in every other sense.
